So, one of my favorite fics from the "Old Cliches, New Tricks" fest was jordangrant's story "Famous Last Words" The story posited the idea of "Draco as Voldemort's erotic inquisitor." I thought that was such a great idea, we should all immediately write stories featuring the idea--it deserves to be its own cliche.

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I did write a piece taking that idea to its logical extreme. It's a 16 chapter plotty, dark fic, of which two chapters are now up at 100quills.

Full warnings and disclaimers are on the fic itself, but briefly, almost the entire story takes place in Voldemort's dungeons, and in the course of 16 chapters there will be dubious consent, rape, attempted murder, and many other hardcore stuff. I've packed more sex per chapter into this one than any other fic of mine. evil!draco is very... active.

I won't cross-post here every time a new chapter is up, but I will when it is all done. I've already written the chapters so my goal is to just post one every day until it is finished.

"Why don't you hate me more?"

Once you start turning cliches inside out, it becomes a kind of reflex. Well, I recently signed up to write 50 Harry/Draco fics for the 100quills community from a 50 word prompt table. And of course I thought, hmm, 50 fics, surely you'll want to have SOME cliches in there.

But the first fic I sat down to write, for the "Knots" prompt, I thought, hmmm. The usual way to do this would be to have Harry be tying Draco down. Draco is the damsel in distress in a lot of H/D. Also, why is Harry always the one who gets to stand up to Voldemort and show bravado?

Well, in this one, it's Draco with the bravado and Harry who is tied.
